Effect of cold hardening on membrane lipid peroxidation and activities of cell defense enzyme in leaves of Anthunium andraenum Lind under low temperature stress

摘要: 研究低温胁迫对经冷锻炼的盆栽红掌叶片膜脂过氧化及保护酶活性的影响,结果表明,冷锻炼可以减缓红掌叶片膜脂过氧化作用的增强、电解质渗出率的增加,以及含水量、叶绿素含量、光合速率的下降;可促进SOD 酶和CAT酶活性的提高及增强POD酶的稳定性,从而提高红掌的抗寒性,延长红掌幼苗寒害(4℃)致死临界时间2.5 d左右。Abstract: The membrane lipid peroxidation of Anthunium andraenum Lind under the low temperature and the effect of cold hardening were studied.The results indicated that cold hardening could lessen the increase of membrane lipid peroxidation, electrolyte leakage rate in leaves, and the decrease of moisture content, chlorophyll content and photosynthetic rate in leaves, at the same time, promoted SOD and CAT activity, and increased the stabilization of POD activity under low temperature stress, so enhanced cold resistance of Anthunium andraenum and prolong the critical time of the plant death under low temperature for about 2.5 days.
