Abstract: The tobacco,Yunyan 202,was introduced and tested in Fujian during 2008-2011.The results showed that Yunyan 202 had the economic characteristics similar to K326,and was highly resistant to TMV and moderately susceptible to the bacterial wilt disease.The flue-cured tobacco leaves of Yunyan 202 had a balanced chemical composition and an appealing appearance like K326.The sensory evaluation showed that Yunyan 202 tobacco had a clean aroma and good smoking quality as well.Thus,it was recommended for wide plantation in the province.
