Abstract: ‘3S'technology is significantly applied in the field of land resources management.In this paper, Remote Sensing, Geographic Information System and Global Positioning System were described first with the basic concept, main features and functions.Recent application of‘3S'technology in the survey, dynamic monitoring, planning of land use and land consolidation were also reviewed and analyzed, indicating that the technology has broad prospects for application in land resources management.
