Abstract: This paper has elucidated the concepts of low-carbon economy on the background and perspectives of developing low-carbon agriculture, and has discussed the challenges for its development against traditional farming system and the shortage of investment on modern agricultural facilities, as well as for establishing the technical system of low-carbon agriculture.The technologic strategies for modern agriculture development have been suggested on the low-carbon circular agriculture of grassland, farmland, mountain land and forest land.
