Abstract:
To evaluate the anti-fatigue effect of mucin glycoprotein from squid, male mice were divided into 4groups randomly and were given different dose of mucin glycoprotein from squid. After 4weeks,the mice′s exhaustive loaded swimming time, liver glycogen level, glucose level, blood lactic acid level, and lactic acid dehydrogenase activity were detected.Compared with the control group, medium and high dose of squid mucin glycoprotein could significantly prolong mice′s exhaustive loaded-swimming time, increase the content of liver glycogen and glucose, improve the blood lactate dehydrogenase activity, while reduce the after-exercise blood lactic acid content, which would prevent the accumulation of lactic acid in muscle and blood,so as to postpone the occurrence of fatigue. In conclusion,Mucin glycoprotein from squid had obvious anti-fatigue effect on mice.
