Abstract: Based on single factorial experiment, the sterile seedlings of Fortunella japonica were used as explants for studying the effects of various growth regulators on inducing embryogeny with orthogonal test.The results showed:the MS+2, 4-D 2.0mg·L-1+BA 0.5mg·L-1 was the best culture medium for inducing embryonic callus.Sucrose at MS culture medium with BA 0.05mg·L-1 gave a maximum embryogenesis from the light yellow callus tissue of leaf.Planting somatic embryos on 1/2MS culture medium with NAA0.1mg·L-1, the rooting rate was 80%, the survive rate was 70%.
