Abstract:
Ninety chili pepper samplesinfectedbyroot rot disease were collected from Changle, Fuqing and Minhou counties in Fuzhou during 2015 to 2016 to identify the causitive fungal pathogens.Three hundred and twenty-seven strains were isolated. Based upon their origins, cultural characteristics and morphologies, these isolates were classified into 7 groups including 2 from Changle, 2 from Fuqing, and 3 from Minhou. Through pathogenic and rDNA-ITS sequence analyses, B1, B2 and B3 were determined to be pathogenic and highly homologous with
Fusarium solani (KT271766.1) in phylogeny at 99% degree of confidence.
