Abstract: The two rowed barley(zhepi 1)plants were treated with 0.04%co lchicine solution at the vigorio ustillering stage,then a new type of tetr aploid barley was obtained in M1 generation,as well as a lot of diploid plants with early-maturing,largeear and high culmcharacter.A new variety named Minyou 3 was selected form these variant plants,then apprised and extended to production.
