Abstract: Eleven accessions of local pepper varieties in Fujian were evaluated using the Grey System Theory.The results showed that Niujiaojiaowang was the best variety,and that the ranking among the tested varieties and the reference was consistent with their performance in the field.Application of the Grey System Theory to evaluate pepper germplasm resources could offer valuable information for the breeding of new pepper varieties.
