Abstract: Effect of planting density and patterns on high protein soybean variety Fudou 234 were studied by the two-factors splitted blocks design.The result showed that the seed-yield of the treatment with planting density 225000 plants·hm-2 and two plants per hole was the highest among planting density 225000-450000 plants·hm-2and planting patterns from one to four plants per hole.The treatment had strong stems, more branches, more pods per plant, high weight of 100 seeds and seed-yield per plant.
