水稻MADS-box家族基因研究进展

Research Progress of MADS-box Family Genes in Rice

  • 摘要: MADS-box家族是序列较为保守的一类蛋白家族,其可通过结合CarGCC(A/T)6GG元件调控下游基因的表达来参与一系列植物发育过程。水稻中共存在76个MADS-box基因,本文对参与调控水稻花器官发育、开花时间、营养生长和胁迫生长的相关MADS-box基因的功能及作用机理进行了综述,将有助于加强对水稻MADS-box家族基因的认知,为后续研究其分子调控网络并为其它物种MADS-box基因家族的研究提供理论参考。

     

    Abstract: A protein family with relatively conserved sequences, MADS-box participates in a series of plant development processes by combining CarG CC(A/T)6GG elements to regulate the expression of downstream genes. There are 76 such genes in rice plants. This article summarizes the functions and mechanisms of MADS-box genes involved in regulating rice floral organ development, flowering time, vegetative growth, and stress responses to aid future studies in the areas of molecular regulatory network and MADS-box families of other species
