Strategies for Developing A Modern Ecological and Sustainable Agriculture for Fujian

Based on the principles of agriculture ecology and sustainability, 6 key initiatives to aid the development in the province are proposed.They include (a) optimizing managerial design and improving developmental plans, (b) coordinating regional operations and specifying unit accountability, (c) generating technical models and encouraging innovative adaptations, (d) establishing system standards and providing developmental direction, (e) building industrial parks and fostering business transformation and upgrading, and (f) extending capital investment and augmenting economic growth.The implementation was expected to benefit energy conservation, pollution reduction, economic acceleration and productivity improvement for the province.
