Abstract
Twenty-four monoclonal antibodies (McAbs) against newcastle disease virus (NDV) were obtained by using hybridoma technique.Among them, McAb-14, McAb-18 and McAb-21 had strong neutralization characteristics, and there was strong correspondence between the neutralization efficacity and the haemagglutination inhibition value. The McAb-18 and McAb-21 belonged to IgG2aclass, and McAb-14 was TgG2bclass.No crossreaction was detected between the McAbs and infectious bronchitis virus, Marek’s disease virus, infectious bursal disease virus, egg drop syndrome virus and infectious laryngotracheitis virus. Two of the three neutralizing McAbs were equivalent mixed randomly; the passive immunization treatment and immune preventive test of the mixture were examined in chicken. The results showed that McAb-14+McAb-18 combination was the most effective.
